…even though I’m a librarian, I’m pretty much the worst person to ask for a book recommendation. I do read quite a bit, but my likes are all over the place and I go for long stretches without reading sometimes (and then go through crazy periods where I read nonstop). On top of that, my mind usually goes blank when someone asks me what I’ve read lately that’s good.
However I’m hoping this blog, will give me a chance to be a bit more consistent with my reading schedule and be better about sharing what I’m reading! 🙂
I’m not planning on doing full scale reviews, but more a “what’s on my (virtual) bookshelf” list. (Another confession – both my parents are librarians too and are die hard “real book” fans whereas I jumped on board the e-reader shipper pretty early on).
So with that I’ll start with what I’ve read last – The Lost Symbol by Dan Brown.
It’s the third book featuring Robert Langdon, the character in the previous novels, Angels and Demons and The DaVinci Code. Overall, very good book! Much like the first two, but still entertaining. A long one though, so be warned! 😉
Next on the list, All the Light we Cannot See by Anthony Doerr. Another long one, so hopefully I can finish it before my loan is up (borrowing e-books from the library is my new obsession!) 🙂
Also, I’m officially on Bloglovin! See link below to follow me! I’ve also linked up my social media accounts…see the sidebar over here –>
