It’s Friday! This week seemed to DRAG, or was it just me?
I thought I would switch it up a little this week with a little Five on Friday – To Do List style. Some of the things on my growing to do list actually directly relate to some of my favorite things. So, let’s kill two birds with one stone, shall we? 😉
I totally need to clean the inside of the windshield on my car. It’s that time of year when the early morning sun is so blinding it drives me batty. So how is this my favorite thing? Well, I’m glad you asked. It’s because I get to use my favorite cleaning product – my e-cloth Window Cleaning Cloth! I blogged on this post about how much I love e-cloths, but I failed to mention one of my favorite cloths – the window cloth!
Never have I been so excited to clean windows! These leave windows spotless with just water! It’s like a miracle.
One spot I have failed to use it is the car. Well, that ends tomorrow, my friends, when I can check this off my to-do list. Please don’t judge me for how excited I get about cleaning windows, OK? 😉
TWO. Researching essential oils!
I have jumped on the essential oil train. I have been using them in home-made cleaners for a while, but I’m finally starting to diffuse them as well. I also have some supplies to start applying them topically, but I really don’t know where to start.
So I really need to research it. Researching is one of my favorites (since it’s sort of what I do for a living), but any tips would be appreciated!
What do oils to you use and why? Any go-to resources you used when you got started?
THREE. Finish painting!
There’s nothing fun to share about this. We just really need to finish painting the living room so I can go ahead and share some before and after pictures! 😉
FOUR. Grocery shopping!
As I mentioned in my last Five on Friday post, I’ve started the Arbonne 30 Day Challenge. I’m on Day 5 and going strong!
However, since this is my second time doing the challenge, I’ve noticed I think I need to step up my game from a snack front. I’ve been looking into some clean eating snacks. This is what I’m doing so far:
- Green apples with some almond butter
- Hummus with carrot sticks
- Raw almonds
- Hard-boiled eggs
- Whatever fresh fruit we happen to have around the house
And that’s about it. Only 5 snacks on rotation for 30 days? Yeah, I think I need to find a few more snacks this go around, especially for work.

I’m going to ask for your help again here, too. Any go-to ideas for clean eating, healthy snacks? Preferably something easy to eat while at work?
