As promised, I have put together some Easter basket ideas for the kiddos! Best part – all of these are Prime eligible, so there is plenty of time to get these by Easter! 😉

Don’t let the above fool you, though – both Brynn and Asher get plenty of candy in their baskets too! 😉 Some of our favorites include Starburst jelly beans, Cadbury mini chocolate eggs, and mini M&M’s!
We also love to get chocolate from a local shop too. I have always been partial to Antoinette’s, since it’s where my mom used to (and still does!) buy Easter candy for me while growing up. The hubs, on the other hand, is a Platter’s guy, since that’s where his mom bought Easter candy. Since I’m the one in charge of getting it, though, I usually win! 😉
My family didn’t do a lot as far as Easter traditions. We always went to church (of course!) and looked for our Easter baskets in the morning, which would contain the Easter eggs we helped dye a day or two beforehand, as well as the aforementioned chocolate! 😉 We usually got a small stuffed animal of some kind, too, but I know I go WAY overboard now with my own kids.
It’s funny how it happened, too! For Brynn’s first Easter, I wanted her to have a basket, but we couldn’t give her candy since she was barely 6 months old. The same went for the next year, because she (somehow) hadn’t tried candy yet (that certainly changed by her third Easter at 2.5 though!).
I guess I felt bad putting just one tiny toy in, because now this has totally become a smaller version of their birthdays or Christmas. Plus, I did add in an Easter egg hunt last year, since I always wanted to do one as a kid and never got a chance too! We did it inside because it was really cold, but it was still so much fun!
I’m so looking forward to this year because Asher will (hopefully!) participate this year, too! We’re also doing a couple local Egg Hunts too (one for our town and one just for our neighborhood). I’m sure lots of pictures will be following (especially on my Instagram!).
Good luck with all your Easter-related shopping! I can hardly believe it’s a week and a half away!
