I recently blogged here about looking for a solution to deal with the mountain of kid’s artwork that we have accumulated over just a 4 year period.
If you read that post, you saw that I had decided to go with the app, Artkive, specifically designed to help parents and others with kid artwork, organize the chaos, reduce the clutter, while keeping a record of favorite pieces.
As I mentioned then, that post was not sponsored in any way at all – I just did my own research (as you know I love to do!) and then shared my thoughts and findings here.
Well, color me surprised when the CEO of Keepy, another app I checked out, reached out to me directly to help explain some of the initial trouble I had when trying out their app! Full disclosure – it was totally user error on my part (which I suspected, because while I love me some gadgets and technology, I am not always the most tech-savvy on the first try! Just ask the hubs – I use an iPhone myself but can barely touch his Samsung without royally screwing something up!). 😉
But I digress… 😉
So the CEO from Keepy came across my post and reached out, and so kindly explained to not-always-so-tech-savvy me the thought process behind setting up an account in their app. Cue my light bulb moment – I could completely see where I made a mistake when I first tried it.
Because of that, I felt it was important to provide an update to my original post to express the user error on my part.
Also, another reason for my update is that Keepy was so kind as to extend a subscription to their app so I could get the full experience, uploading images of the kiddos’ artwork so we can start creating things like photobooks as keepsakes.
Plus, there is so much more the Keepy app can do besides storing images of your children’s artwork and creating keepsakes. For starters, your family and friends can also download the app so you can share directly with them.
The people you share it with can leave text and voice comments, too, which is so neat! You can even upload videos to the Keepy app to share as well!
So ultimately, I am so excited to really get started! I have a good amount of artwork already photographed, so now comes the fun part of uploading, sharing, and creating!
I want to extend a really big thank you to Keepy for all their help. Talk about great customer service, eh? I certainly can’t remember the last time a CEO of a company reached out to me directly to help me with their product!
Working with Keepy has been more than a pleasure and I cannot wait to share the keepsakes I make through Keepy with all of you!
*I was gifted a subscription to Keepy, but all opinions are 100% my own!*
